What was the spat between rick and lee?

Also, what does “rauf” mean?
They're the reasons that we lost, I didn't go into the reasons why India won... but Dravid aside they played well enough to win at home.

In the second test Ponting didn't bowl Lee at all in the morning session, and at about the point when he bought on Hussey to throw down some medium pacers Binga wanted to know why. They had an on field argument and to the Indians it was a sign of weakness.

Due to all the good umpires being Australian we get stuck with useless pricks from other countries, in this case Pakistani umpire Asud Rauf. Here's video of Haydos being Raufed on the third ball of the series.

Mose - I'm totally with you on Ponting. Guy thinks he's bigger than the game.

If you're gonna act like you're the shit and try and be the world bully, better make sure you follow all that noise up with some action. Especially when you're a midget Tasmanian who's overly touchy about your hair and name for fucks sake.

Everyone wangs on about Steve Waugh's put downs and one liners, but they forget that mostly he was the silent assassin who wasn't constantly going off like a yappy dog, but getting his head down and grinding out the runs and wins. In this context, Pontings pussy whipping by Harbajhan is an absolute fucking disgrace.

Even worse is the example it sets for the rest of the team, many of whom also think that acting like a wanker what international cricket is all about.

One thing lost us this trophy - attitude. And that starts from the top.

In general the importance of the toss has diminished a lot in recent decades, across the world. Teams batting first in India by decade (ignoring Zim/Bdesh):
1970's: win 11, lose 4, draw 12
1980's: win 7, lose 7, draw 21, tie 1
1990's: win 13, lose 7, draw 7
2000's: win 10, lose 12, draw 14
