The day of the Bear

October 12th, 2008 by Moses Leave a reply »

Today will be the making of Cameron White as a cricketer. 40 runs off 20 balls and 4 wickets will define his career in the baggy green cap.

The batting situation is tailor made for him, just belt the crap out of it and there’s nothing to lose.

And a few wickets on the 5th day turner will complete the box set. Then I might forgive him for stuffing my first innings bet of Australia making 450.

He’s 18 off 14 so I’d wager White’s got the same idea. 4 wickets would be absolutely superb, he did bowl pretty well in the first innings, the pie quote was below MacGilla’s at least..

Symonds would be a good role model in that once his bowling clicked his batting came good too (Melbourne as I remember)

Well, Ponting’s declared so we can’t blame White for not getting 40 now…

He actually bowled pretty well before tea, without any luck.
