Reigime Change. Bring it on!

What a disgraceful day of test cricket for Australia. DUminy played well and didn’t give many chances for his 150, however with a number 10 batsman who averages under 11 you’d think we might have what used to be called “a plan”. Apparently not. Dale Steyn smashed his former high score of 32 with an impressive innings that left the Aussies asking no questions.

From the position in which we now find ourselves, the current test can not be won. Lets look at best case for the Aussies, where we score a mammoth 120 runs each session. I honestly can’t see this happening with this current outfit, but lets entertain the idea for a moment.

End of first session, we’re 60 runs ahead.

End of 2nd session, we’re 180 runs ahead

End of Day 4, we’re 300 runs ahead. Still not enough to declare.

End of 1st session on Day 5, we’re 420 runs ahead. Now we’ve batted the saffas out of the match and have two sessions to bowl them out.\

At which point we’ll bring out our trump card, two bowlers. Johnson is in top form, but he’s not going to bowl out the saffas on an improving pitch on his own regardless of how much “pressure” is exerted from the other end.

Hauritz is clearly in the team to bore the batsmen out, well that and they thought he needed something to keep him busy as he is still the second choice spinner for his adopted state.

So, we’re f’ucked. The best we can hope for in this test is a draw, so Sydney becomes a must win to retian the trophy.

So lets stop f’ucking around.

Here’s my plan, and it’s a rip-snorter.

New captain – Shane Keith Warne. He’ll come back in a heartbeat for the catpaincy, as long as he’s “wanted” Warney will coem back and terrorise the hairy backed sheilas.

Drop Hayden, NOW. I don’t care if he makes a quick 24 in this innings, he’s not Ashes material. In fact, he sucked in England in 2005 so why send him again but out of form?

Clarke up the order to 4, Hussey to 5.

Lee can go to marriage counselling. Siddle can get some shield caps before he’s ready to play in the big time.

Who the bl0ody hell picked an unfit Roy? P1ss him off for Noffke motherf\ucker.

1. Katto (with beard)
2. Phillip Hughes
3. Ponting (specialist no 3 batsman)
4. Michael Clarke (vc)
5. Michael Hussey
6. Ashley Noffke
7. Brad Haddin
8. Shane Warne (c)
9. Mitchell Johnson (opening bowler)
10. Doug Bollinger
11. Ben Hilfenhaus.

Then we’ll win if seth efrika and shove that up em. nice.

    WHAT THE FUCK!!

Having watched the highlights of day 2, I stayed up till past watching the first hour of play so I could see us wrap up their tail. Thank fuck I gave up and went to bed!

What’s going on down there? Are the papers going apeshit crying for Ponting’s job or what?

    Desparate times.
But watch out for the Ponting century at more than run-a-ball that sets up an amazing victory day after tomorrow for Australia.

He’s lucky, if nothing else, that hairy tasmanian. Look how many chances he gets while batting an scoring his important hundreds.
You guys are unfairly after someone who is going to end up with 14000+ test runs and 45+ test centuries and probably a 75% test win record as captain

I don’t know about unfairly, I could have captained Australia to 75% test win record given the team he started with, and I would have come up with at least 1 or 22 ideas against their number 10 batsman today. How about giving Katich an over? Or bowling your alledged all rounder before they’ve taken a first innings lead? King hitting Brett Lee would have been fairly high up the list too.
