It’s not every day that Cricket = Action = Art puts up an image that reminds me of happy times, but today he has done exactly that.

I was born in Bowral and spent my first 6 years there. We used to live in Shepherd Street, 3 doors up from the Don’s former residence though he’d left for Adelaide many years before.

Such a picturesque oval, I still remember watching my Dad play for Bowral as a batsman out there. There’s a bunch of stuff for the kids to play on round the corner including an old steam train. Tidy.
